Default Strange idle issue

So when I am sitting still in neutral my car ( both stickshift in neutral and/or with clutch in) it revs up and down from like 900 rpm to 600 rpm, back and forth. I do not know if this is normal for my or any car. Have I just never realized this before?

Try diconnecting the battery for 15 mins. Then turn the car on and do not touch the gas. Let it idle for awhile and see if the computer relearns the correct idle.

what does it mean when idle issues only happen with the A/C or defrost on? curious because it's doing that for my car. Recently I disconnected the battery for 20 mins, and let it re-learn the idle afterwards following the instructions in my car manual, and it seems to fix this but not entirely sure.
