Default 99-04 GT Convert springs?

Hey all, Im in the market for some springs for the car, I have a 99 gt convert and ive noticed that certain brands offer a convert specific set of springs. My question is what is the difference between the convert and the hard top suspension?

Thanks

I think they allow for a difference in weight.

The verts tend to be heavier than the coupe, so spring rate usually differs.

So will any springs that are currently made fit? I just want to make sure there are no issues getting them into the car. I was looking at getting H&R race springs but they do not make a Convert specific set.
If just the spring rate is different then it shouldnt be a problem, most anything that is aftermarket is stiffer than stock so not to worry in the rate department.
