Clutch help needed
Just helped a buddy re-do a clutch in a 2000 GT. This is the second time the clutch was installed because the first time caused the fork to come off the pivot ball and hit the centrifigual weights on the centerforce clutch. We cut the weights and the ring off the clutch (after talking to Centerforce), re-assembled with another new throwout bearing. Upon startup, we found that when the car is put into gear, the rear wheels move even with the clutch in. Worse than that, reverse grinds so much that it will not go in at all. Prior to dis-assembly, the car drove OK, but the pedal felt like it was dragging. Come to find out the TO bearing (which only had 400 miles on it) was bad. I am onfident the clutch is good, but when I adjust the cable from one extreme to the other (too loose to way too tight), the car acts the same as described above. Is it possible I put the disc in backwards? Would I even be able to re-assemble?
Please help. This is the son of a friend of mine, and he needs his car back. I am stumped.

It is possible to put the clutch in backwards, but for some reason I want to say everything won't bolt up correctly. So in others I doubt the disc is in backwards.
As far as what the problem can be... good question.
