Haha wow 60? Sounds like youll be going through those like tissues!

But it sounds good. Im a firm believer that tires are one of the most important things you can do to a car, so i want to do it right. 255 up front on a 9 inch wheel with 315 out back on a 10.5 in wide with nto5s and a slightly stiffer rear with sway bar(much later) to accomidate for the staggerd sound smart?

Sounds good and certainly would expect some understeer that route

I like the MMRSB 1~7 (I run #4) as good a option due to adjustability for different courses as well as driving conditions. Your right, the SB comes after everything is done and see how she handles.

And 255s are a better fit on a 9 in rim then 275s for autocross? the 255/315 gap does have me second guessing..
...ooor i could save up even more and go to 18s. 265 up front 285s out back with the nt555s

I agree that a 275 is generally a bit large for a 9" wheel, so maybe a 265 as a compromise.

You are gonna have some understeer anyway as we are talkin' an SN95 here, but unless AX is the ONLY thing you plan to do with your ride, go with what you want for DD use. Go ahead with 255's/315's and just address the suspension as needed after you drive it around some.

Sounds like a good plan to me

Will limit the understeer issues and will be happy with the NT05's, I'm sure.

I would recommend looking into a set of proxes 4's or t1r's (I've ran both before in a staggered setup) I like how stiff the sidewalls are on these two and they provide a great amount of grip wet or dry.

If you are planning on going to your first event tho, I would recommend something I didn't do, get a set of stiff tires that don't offer a whole lot of grip as this will force you to focus a bit more your first couple times out. After this tire is gone and you get a better feel of the car, go and get a set of good tires.

Oh and Eric, I'm rusty as hell lols, I'll most likely spin out once or twice if I do an event now=/. I also need a new helmet, lost my old one/left it at the last event I was at on accident.

Okay soo after all the math is done it comes down to $1,037 for nt555 on a 17" with 255/315 from american muscle, or $1,365 from cruizin concepts for 18" with 265/285 NT555. Do you think the $328 difference worth the 18" and reduced understeer?

I 285 will fit fine on an 10.5" wheel, but look on the "thin" side. I ran a 295 on my 10.5"s for a while and didn't like it.
