Default Top starter bolt? Where?

I can not for the LIFE of me find the top starter bolt, I've got all these scopes and mirrors and the car is on a lift, and I just cant find the top starter bolt! I've got the 2 lower one's, The one thats easy to get to then the one that you need a 6" extension, fumbling around behind the starter to finally get to the bolt but I can NOT find the 3rd one!

I'd have more room if I could take the exhaust off, but some dip**** put a 4" bolt w/ nut on the lower exhaust flange making it imposible to get to with any tools I have in my wide collection with the starter in the way.

Help!

Andrew

yea that was the pain in the *** one for me too... i would do that one first so ur not having to stick ur hand in there while the starters wobbling about... its at the very top of the starter all the way toward the back tucked in... sucks...

I found the best way to tackle that **** is to bring your extension from the front of the motor, over the sub frame cross member. It's right up next to the block. I had hell finding it when I pulled the motor.

I go over from the front under the motor mount to get that one. I'd strongly suggest leaving it out after you get it out.
