Default Brake rotors and pads

its time for new rotors and pads for the stang, i noticed during my suspension installation. I was looking and was considering hawk pads with baer eradispeed rotors. Any suggestions or opinions of other set ups, had the hawk pads before and love them

I still haven't had to replace mine, but i have read that alot of people like ceramic pads, such as the Hawks, and use regular oem style rotors from autozone or wherever. The drilled/slotted rotors aren't as useful with newer style pads, due to limited outgassing. Drilled are also more prone to cracking, and slotted decrease the life of the pads significantly. Its a toss up really.

I had the SSBC brake kit on my Cobra, and I loved them. The rotors were slotted, and did produce a lot of brake dust, but the brakes worked excellently (trust me I've had to stop fast quite a few times)

Its a pretty in-expensive kit

i went with stock rotors and Hawk pads and liked the improvment they made just driving on the street.

For around an additional $150 you could do the cobra brake upgrade(front). That's what I would do.
I wasted my money on a set of Hawk HPS pads. The only thing I noticed from the stock pads was more noise and more dust; the car stops exactly the same. I should have spent a few extra bucks and done the cobra kit.

IMO hawk pads are fine, there are definitely better pads out there, but if your not looking to really upgrade your braking hawk pads do the job.
