if it works out, i might have a chance to pick up a procharger p1sc head unit with 1000 miles on it for 500 bucks. How much would i be looking at to get the rest of the kit? Would this be better than a kenne bell 1.7 kit. i only have about 2k to work with and i plan on building my shortblock with a proline rotating assembly in the future..

I don't think 2K is going to be enough for a rotating assembly and ProCharger kit (less head unit). You need 42 lb injectors, 255 lph fuel pump, NGK TR6 spark plugs, new fan belt and tune as well as all of the piping and brackets.

I think if I read that right, your doing the supercharger now, and then forging it later?

If pricing is similiar to Vortec, you should be able to sneak by around $2k. Depends on where/who does your tune. After the head unit, the tune was my biggest expense.

E-bay you can find every thing you need there but don't get the cheap no name $#!t you'll kick your self in the a$$ for it later.
