Cooling System Emergency...Please Help!

O.K., I've ordered a radiator hose kit, thermostat, radiator cap, intake manifold and intake gaskets...wow, that came out to a pretty penny!

Anyway, once all of those are replaced, I shouldn't have any cooling problems for a long time!

Before you install those parts, check with your Ford Dealership, there is a Quiet Recall which may cover your repairs. Check out the link below. I believe the list of vehicle models and years has grown since the original lawsuit was filed. Won't hurt to check! Good luck, Tommy.

That was a class action law suit that I am barely outside of as far as the years covered. I would have had to make my claim within 90 days of it closing anyway and that is way past. It's good information though, makes me definitely want to go ahead and get a better intake manifold in my car.

It's already on order by the way, as well as new hoses, thermostat, and radiator cap.
