Ok guys so it's been a few weeks since I first had this problem. The first time I tried the fix, it worked for a good few weeks and then it recently come back again. I just did the fix again and it went away really good for a few days and now it's back. The weird thing is that sometimes it's worse than other times and just then when I was pulling back into my garage and reving my car, it wasn't sticking at all. So basically it happens randomly as well.

Any ideas?

You may need to get a lock nut for your set screw. It sounds like engine vibration may be backing the screw back out.

well can you visibly see that the lock nut has backed off. is there still a small gap between your butterfly valve and the sealing surface like cliffy said. if the space has closed up then its possible you may need to get a new lock nut. or perhaps when you unplug your battery the kam is resetting and not solving your problem but bandaging it
