Mustang Not Turning Over ?!

Mustang Not Turning Over ?!
Well the PI swap is done for the most part. Went to fire it up everything was plugged in and seemed to be fine. It wouldnt turn over, kept trying and still nothing. It seemed like it wasnt getting spark. I put new plugs in and the same plug wires which were changed less then a year ago, so i thought they'd be ok.Went over the coil packs and the firing order and everything was plugged in. My dash was blinking the THEFT thing. So i cleared that code w/ my predator and still wouldnt fire up. There was another problem but that one was easy, oil started squirting from the back of the heads, forget one plug on each head in the back. Pretty stupid. But if anyone could help w/ why it might not start.

could be that you need to clean your IAC. Happened to me before also and also a couple other guys here on the board. The only way my car would stay on was if i kept the accelerater pressed and over a certain rpm or else it would just die. Try cleaning it, is really easy. Hope that helps.

I dont know why its happening but the anti theft has turned the fuel off to the engine because it thinks its been stolen. Have you messed with the ECU? If its blinking then thats what the deal is because I just wnt through this with my buddys Saleen which we did an engine swap.

The Theft was blinking when we took the batter cables off to let it sit and then we plugged it back in and i got the same code. Well i cleared the code w/ my Diablosport and it still wouldnt start. There was another code that i couldnt clear that one said like OBD ll not successly tested all systems or something.

Put the key in the ignition and turn it on but not attempting to crank the engine and see if its still blinking. It should stop blinking once the key is in and turned on. If its still blinking then something is wrong.

RE: Mustang Not Turning Over ?!
Well i heard somewhere else to that maybe the THEFT isnt letting it spark. I know its getting fuel because at first the fuel line wasnt hooked up right and it shot out. Hooked it back up and im sure it was still getting fuel. I dont think its the IAC. The only thing that isnt hooked up is the tempature sensor, there was two on my old manifold and one place on the new one. So i put the one on that goes in the new manifold and put the other one in the back of the block, well we werent done working and bumped it w/ a jack and broke it off. Its either the temp gauge sensor, or idle temp sensor.
