i would like to do this as cheap as i can do the vortech and procharger all make that wine noise because i love that,im aslo thinking ken bell

if (when) i get a supercharger im going with kenne bell. im more into the low end tq than top end hp.

I couldnt quite make out what you're trying to say here....but Centrifugal(Most vortech and prochargers) don't make the "whine" noise. Only Roots/Twin-Screw blowers do this. If setup right Centrifugals do make a very mean sounding blow off like a jet engine though.

Also...KB will be 25%-40% more expensive on average. The benefit being you get your boost and torque instantly as opposed to having to rev your engine to the moon to see PSI. Its also much easier to stay in and out of boost.

i wonder if an engine with a KB or whipple has longevity problems as you are always in boost.

and O.P read this thread.

I would go P1-sc (procharger or S-Trim or maybe an SQ of some sort, depending on which you find cheaper.

the benifit to the Procharger is its self contained so no need to tap the oilpan.

I'm in the middle of piecing together a vortech s/c, use that thread posted above this ^^^ can save you money big time if you piece together the kit instead of buying it out right.

Kenne Bells have a blowoff valve, you are not always in boost.

I talked to the kenne bell company today not a bad price 3800.00 for the complete kit.Just wish i had the money for a cobra and i think whipple is around the same price to
