Decide what you want to do with the car, your intended use will play a factor in whether you should go with a twin screw or a centri blower. If you want to know the sound, go on youtube. The centris don't so much whine as I would say they whistle, but its still pretty badass. Definately not the sound of a twin screw though.

If you want a roots style blower I would go with Kenne Bell or Wipple. If you want a centrifugal style blower ATI Procharger or Vortech are good brands. The roots style blower makes a loud whining sound under hard acceleration. The centrinfugal style makes a loud whistling sound all the time.

Kenne Bell/Whipple blowers are not roots style superchargers. They are twin-screw "blowers".....which means they arent technically "blowers" by definition....they are superchargers.

Brandon to be honest I hate to burst your bubble but its simply not worth the 3800 for the non-intercooled kit in the end. Due to the fact that you're putting such hot air into the engine(no intercooler) you are really only adding 50-60 HP and also adding a TON OF RISK of breaking things on your car. Wait until you can afford the intercooler to go with it, I promise you that you will enjoy it and appreciate it more. $3800 is simply not worth stressing your engine that much for 50-60 HP at the wheels.
