Aw, crap..i'm a statistic (plastic manifold)
ive been noticing low coolant for a while now. the manifold itself was cracked when i bought the car over a year ago. but today, finally, i noticed when i changed the plugs there was coolant in the spark plug wells. Really, i'm shocked how the car is running flawlessly. no hesitation or anything..i just ran a 13.6..and could of ran faster that night if i had a helmet with me i cant believe i'm not misifirng because the plugs were soaking wet.
Anyway, i dont know how long i've left this un noticed. I'm out of a job and it's going to be a couple of months before i have enough money to fix this, am i still ok to drive the car? will driving with some water/coolant in the spark plug wells cause damage to my engine?
Thanks for help

I don't think you'd have to replace anything except the spark plugs and possibly plug wires. When this happened to me, I had to replace the plugs+wires because it wasn't firing all cylinders ( coolant was sitting in the plugs hole ).

We carry the new manifolds for your Mustang that have the aluminum crossover to fix that issue.

Yes, March 16th 2006 was the hard date. If your vehicle hadn't failed by that time, you're sheet outta luck. If it failed and you had it repaired, ford would pay you 735$, big whoop. So ya, you're on your own.
