Default Is the BULLITT intake worth it

Okay, I need some advice. I drive a 2002 Mustang GT and I am thinking to buy the Bullitt intake manifold including the lower and upper intake. Is this change worth it? I have a NosZle system, Hooker Long-tube Headers, C&L MAM with inlet pipe, and I'm thinking to buy a 75mm throttle body? Also, what do you think about buying rebuilt 4.6 heads with port match?

i think for the money that intake costs i would save another 2800 and by a ken bell twin screw.. eliminates the manifold and with the ken bell intercooler, makes mad power.

The Bullitt intake really shines on a forced induction car. Otherwise you won't see much if any performance gain over a stock 4.6 intake, at least not enough to warrant the price of a Bullitt intake. If you have any future plans for a blower or turbo, or NO2, it's a good idea.</P>

Just re-read your post and noticed you have NO2 <IMG src=smileys/smiley14.gif border="0">so it might be worth your while.</P><edited><editID>USAMuscle</editID><editDate>37941.6067361111</editDate></edited>

You should probably take a look at the P-51 offered by Fox-Lake. If you could get the Bullitt intake for $700 you still have to replace a ton of other stuff. The price of the bullitt wouldbe about the same as the P-51. Just thought I'd mention it. </P>

If you could only buy one of the two things, which one would you buy: The Bullitt intake manifold OR rebuilt 4.6 heads with port match?

I went with the stage II porting, valve job, oversized valves, high rev springs, and portmatched upper intake because I have a 96. I don't think I would have done it if I had a 99+. With the aluminum coolant crossover you woudn't have to worry aobut the intake crapping out on you with the nitrous. Going this way you'd spend a lot more than if you decided to go with the bullitt intake. If the heads you're looking at aren't P&amp;P I wouldn't bother with it. I'm assuming you have 99+ heads cuz you're talking about adding the bullitt intake. </P>
