I didn't think the regular Magnaflows with a catted X pipe was that quiet. Or the X pipe is the thing that makes the difference?

catted midpipe + chambered muffler will be quiet.... 50 series mufflers give a nice rumble and are fairly quiet...dont think ever seen them on a mustang though

Regular magnaflows as said earlier. But it also depends what you have for a mid pipe. Obviously if you have an off road pipe its gonna be hard to get it quiet.

I have stock headers and off road x-pipe.
It looks like I have flowmasters.
They were on the car when I bought it.
I'm assuming they are 40's because they are loud as heck.
I am looking for the quietest performance setup I can find.

Have some cats welded in along with a couple of resonators. That will make it alot quieter.

I'd just have to live with it before I put cats back on.
Does anyone know were I can find the right size resonator tips?
The flowmaster tips are 22 inches long.
