ya my hood vents were open and i had no hood blanket so water could get down there, its a popular cobra mod to extract heat but it had to be causing this. I drove my car to school and to get food today with no issues so far. I put some putty stuff around the plug to help prevent this again, and closed the hood vents and got a new hood blanket.

Ahhh I knew there was an underlying cause....Well, atleast you know what was wrong!
