These are the lights, Hella Optilux 1100 series, with 100W H3 lamps in them--you just have to cut a tab off the 100W lamp to get it in a 55W housing, AND have lamp housings and lenses that can handle the heat.

The Optilux's are diecast metal with glass lenses.

I have them in chrome with blue lenses (amber light), which apparently have been discontinued... I'll see if I can get some night time shots of the beam pattern,

Those are a set I was considering, Instead I cheaped out and bought two sets of rectangular small lens drivign lights, and mounted them in pairs. Two 55w bulbs on each side of my car, for 40$, it lights up the road pretty damned good.

I mounted them with the bracket on top, in the cavity that held the OEM lights--I'll get a photo when I get a chance.
