Default Went to the drag strip, screwed up my tranny. Please advise, have no idea whats wrong.

hey, well my car has 3:73 gears, SCT tuner, off road H pipe, Mufflers, and steeda short shifter.
I ran a 13.6, i beat the crap out the car. Anyway, during the last run of the day, i mis shifted third i think, then next thing i know my shifter locks up!
i pull over and i see my reverse lights on! crap, i guess i accidentally shifted in reverse, although i could of swore i didnt i'm so pissed at myself.

Anyway, i push the car over to the side. i play with the shifter..The reverse lights no longer on, the rear wheels still spin freely and stuff without issue so i was able to push the car.

So i examined the car.. no fluid loss, no smoke, no nothing. It's just that the damn shifter is stuck, the shift **** wont budge in any direction.

i'm pretty sure i've blown the tranny..but everyone at the track was like they think something else may be wrong because usually it spills fluid all over the track or theres a hole in the damn thing..
someone said it could be something called the ''shift block or something" also i'm thinking maybe i bent the shift fork because the 3rd gear shift stop on the short shifter didnt look too good, it looked like who ever installed it didnt set the stops right on the steeda..but i've been driving the car like this for years so i dont know.. if the shift forks gone, will that require tranny over haul? or a new tranny?

the car is a 00 mustang GT with the T45 transmission. 100,000 miles original clutch and tranny
Someone please advise as the car is sitting alone at the track 50 miles away! thank you so much for any r

Well the first thing I would do is to get the car towed home or to somewhere trustworthy so you don't have to worry more about it

Possibly the input shaft? That sounds a bit like what happened to me...made some runs, tranny started to get harder to shift...then bam, not able to shift period with the car on. Were your runs any slower than normal that day? (Mine were .6 slower (consistently!) the day mine twisted)

I blew my shift fork into pieces on my t45... the 3-4 fork snapped clean off the rod. I had 1,2,5... Replacing it means ripping the tranny to pieces.. So basically have it overhauled or just break down and buy yourself a new/better one..

I believe theres a company out there that sells beefed up t45s, like 700hp..
