Hey all i have a 99 gt. no mods to fuel system. I just started having a fuel smell on the inside of my car and just recently after i fill up. After like a 15 min drive i can notice it on the insaide. Are there any common problems like a seal or something? thanks

Sounds like an exhaust leak to me.

Get under the car and check around all of your pipes.

If you have a leak it will be a black spot on the pipe.

Are we talking a raw fuel smell? I would look fist around fill neck and vent tube for any signs of leakage (wetness on hoses, loose clamps...). But really could be anywhere in fuel system. If you cant locate it and it is more than a one time thing, get it up off the ground and take a good look from front to back. I once had a fuel line rubbed through by an exhaust clamp. What made it hard to find was that the fuel was evaporating on exhaust...

If it is raw fuel I would check the groumet in the fuel tank where the filler neck goes into the tank. Look for signs of leakage
