Default Strange vibration just started happening.

Something odd just happened with my car. I was driving it the other day and I noticed some noise coming from the trunk region. Sounded like plastic rattling around, but it only happened around 3000RPM. I looked in the trunk, but couldn't find anything, so I put it out of my mind.

Now I am getting a ton of vibration in the car. Doesn't matter if it's moving or sitting still, in neutral, or in gear. At idle is where it shakes the most. When the A/C is on, it shakes 5 times worse. The most vibration is in the seats, but even the outside mirrors vibrate. Also, it sounds like the exhaust is louder, but I can't find a leak anywhere. On top of that, the plastic rattling is getting worse. It's especially bad if I lay the back seats down.

The engine is staying where it should, not rocking around, so I don't suspect the motor mounts, plus I can hold my hand on the intake and not feel the vibration. The shifter isn't transfering any vibration either, so I am a bit stumped. Any ideas?

If it does it in neutral at idle, that pretty much rules out everything but motor or tranny mounts,or the engine is actually misfiring,Or you could try turning the radio down a little bit.J/K

Hmm, I figured so. The motor mounts I bought never fit right, so I only got 2 bolts in each one, I am wondering if I bent one. Looking at the engine, it does look like it's bent forward some.

That sounds like all engine to me. Our engines are powerful and fully capable of shaking your entire car if not mounted properly.
