Unhappy Fixing one thing, breaking another.. great!

Not the Air Bag!!! so i was getting some help with the speed cal, i needed to find a hot in the car, so i was probing around on the driver side, while my friend had the passenger side, i had a few on mine.. he wasn't having to much luck with his until i hear.. "wait, here is a red one, kinda big... lets check it.. before i could spit anything out i hear... psshhhhhh..., uh oh". yeah, that really happen, so now i have my airbag light on constantly, and i imagine one of the airbags wont' work.. if not both.. anybody help me with this. he jammed a test light into the red tube under the glove box releasing pressure.. help. light blinks in patters of 3 mostly, sometimes one, when i drive, it stays on consistantly.

He jammed the test light into a wire? Or something else? If it's just a wire he probably just blew the SIR fuse.

Get the code checked, too. It'll help direct you to what exactly he busted.

it was into a red line under the glove box that was not a wire, it was like a small hose, red, made a nice pssh sound when he punched the test light in it.. a sound of lightly pressurized air escaping. it was an air tube. airbad light displayed after all was said and done.

Hmm, I couldn't tell you, then. I don't have any experience with the airbag systems in these cars. My guess is he busted something with the passenger inflator module. You're probably gonna have to replace it.

See if you can get the code. I'm curious as to what it actually set. It'll be like a PCM code, but instead of PXXXX it'll be BXXXX.

Put the wires down and step AWAY from the 12v. Seriously

I can tell you are one of those people that always want to do their own electrical but should NEVER EVER--EVEREVEREVR do it.

I'm only giving you this to keep you from screwing up more ****. The locations of the wires are behind the stereo and under the steering wheel. It's a little late but: NEVER TOUCH THE THICK YELLOW WIRES OR YELLOW COUPLERS THEY ARE TO YOUR AIR BAGS.
