runs fine actually! i would've never known the thing was missing if the SES light wasn't on!?!

i'm throwing it on a lift tomorrow to get underneath it and see if it's not hiding under the intake somewhere... ugh.

On the '02+ GTs the IAT sensor is built into the MAF (that's why the MAF has 6 wires, the two outside wires are the IAT sensor IIRC)

However, I do not believe that is an '03 MAF...

Here's what mine looks like:

I think the earlier model MAFs have the 6-wire connector but only 4-wires, I.e. no IAT sensor in the MAF--something's bitched up on that setup.

Also the stock '03 MAF housing is plastic, your's appears to be aluminum?

I think CliffyK is right, just pulled up a pic of my 00 mustang MAF, only has 4 wires and I do have a IAT sensor and harness, i know because I just had to drill a new hole in my new RAI for it.

Edit: I would post that pic, but looks like I need to "Upgrade to Pro Today!"

+1 '02+ have an intergrated MAF/IAT sensor. my guess would be somebody got an intake from an earlier year and put it on that car.

IIRC, 98 and older had the metal MAFs and the 99+ had plastics. I know for sure my 96 is metal and my 03 is plastic.
