Default what would u do?

i can get a 4.6 dohc out of a crown vic (unsure of the year, it has the spark plug wires and isnt coil on packs) for 200 bucks. any one know what internals are in the block? (cobra?) id like to get it and throw my 2v heads on there and sell the 4vs.

so as my title says, what would u do?

The only way it's DOHC is if it was a mercury marauder not a crown vic. And even if it is the DOHC the internals are no better than the ones you have now.

The linconl continental had a 4v in in too but dont be fooled because the intech 32v in the continentals wont work because the bolt patter for the bellhousing is different due to the invert mounting for FWD

If it really is a 4v... why not just do the entire engine swap? That's what I would do, especially for $200.

Post a pic. I highly doubt your looking at a DOHC. But if it is a DOHC buy it and part it out there are alot of parts on the DOHC that are worth $. People are paying $200/$400 just for the Teksid block
If you don't but please send me a link because I will buy it. I'm not kidding either
