Car wont run, plz help guys

Alrighty, so I replaced the alternator, started the car and it ran rough for a couple seconds then died. Tryed it again and it did the same thing. So I peeked around a little more, found another broken vacuum line, fixed that, and discovered that I had mixed up a couple of the wires on the drivers side coil pack, so I straightened that out and was stoked.
Got in the car and went to start it, nothing, turns over but never fires.
Thx for all the help soo far guys, Im really kinda stuck, I know all the things it could be, but I cant quite narrow it down and I cant afford to just start replacing things. <3 these forums
