The tab holding the switch panel housing (driver side) broke off and doesn't stay in so I bought a new one to replace it. I had no trouble removing the switch panel housing from the door panel but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the dual side mirror control switch out of the switch panel housing. It's got two tabs that can be pushed in on the top and right side but on the left and bottom it's got two small nubs that prevent me from removing it. There's got to be something simple that I'm missing; I can't believe how much !@#$%&* time I've spent on what should've taken 5 minutes...any help is much appreciated!!!

how about a mini screwdriver to "help" the switch out? Like A small flat head precision screwdriver, and you would wedge it in the "nub" side while pressing the tabs in. You would then "wedge" the switch over those numbs and BINGO

when i went to take mine out, there was just one clip i had to compress then i could work the rest of the switch out.

THANK YOU!!! I pushed down HARD with flat head screwdriver into each of the nubs with the tabs pushed in and it came right out. Now if only I can figure out how to get the door panel switch housing back into the door panel...
