It's the normal whooshing sound. Only because of the way you described it happening at really low rpms, and especially in 5th gear when the car is likely the quietest inside the cabin.

It's just air passing through the pipes as far as I know. Mines done it since I got the O/r H pipe and it's been on my car for about 4 year now. Sound has always been there, and always sounded the same.

if it just sounds louder under you thats normal. go about 40 in 5th gear and floor the car (if u have an auto put it in the highest gear u can what is it second or third? and do like 1 mph) and floor the car. if it gets really loud and sounds like its wooshing or ticking real loud its exhaust leak.

if you have an exhaust leak you will have lost more low end and maybe gas mileage than without an exhaust leak also.
