dude its just sensors triggering the light. get a flash tuner and turn them off, u have the option of accessing the options too turn off or leave on with the tuner. the people that are telling you this have tuners and turned of the the check engine light for the same reasons as you.

When you say turn off with tuner is that turning check engine light off totally or just for that condition? Will it still flash on when you turn the key to the on position?

it will stay off. you will be disabling the sensor... im not a technical guy, but i had a check engine light on due to no cats so i turned the sensor that reads that off. each tuner has a menu in which u navigate through and select your options (buncha diff stuff like which gears u have 410 373's or watever, traction control on or off, all kids of stuff like that) after u make your modications u load the tune to your car and you are good to go. its simple, if you buy one you will see what i mean.

You can't change the transport delay with a regular hand-held tuner. You will need a custom tune. Brenspeed is good I hear or a local tuner that can do it with Sniper or something. I went through the same thing a few months ago. My tuner fixed it and passed emissions no problem make sure the tuner knows what they are doing and you shouldn't have a problem.

TX emissions county guys... it's like CA you can't just turn them off. a custom tune is required along with all the other stars aligning and your cats working like they should. I just went through this bs.
