Default QA1 k member, please help, problems

So i bought a QA1 k member i got for 200 bucks, bought urethane motor mounts too...well there is a known problem already with the steering shaft rubbing the header with pypes LTs which i have. bolted the k member in, it must shift the steering rack because the shaft rub like crazy, had to gring shaft, dimple header, and shim motor mount on pass side. ok, new problem, using the stock a arms kicks the wheels out 3/4", no prob but with my eibach prokit it made it ever sit lower, no wheel gap at all, and the wheel alignment is sooooo messed it, i cant even drive it. the wheels are both pointing inwards.what im concerned about is, is something wrong here? do i need to change my springs? the car is litterally not driveable, i pull forward and the wheels like skip...also it seems harder to turn the wheel when it was up on jack stands? what can be done about this steering problem? anyone have tips about this k member...i know i shouldve went with PA racing but this was 200 bucks, i guess ya get what you pay for...

A QA1 k-member is different then other after market k-members. If you call them they would have told you unless your taking it offroad dont use it because first off if you use bigger tires on the front they will rub. Second for it to all work you have to use their A-amrs, their coil overs, their shocks, their chamber plates. You can get it all through summitracing.com but you wouldnt want to use it. You want to go with the granatelli kit. That kit wont mess anything up and is ment for day to day driving. The QA1 kit is specifically ment for off road according to their techs there. I called them wondering why they were so much more then the Granatelli kit which is $600 ish with everything included and they said because it is meant for off road use only.

Thats probley why the guy you got it from was trying to get rid of it. If you decide to keep it you have to switch to all QA1 stuff and your looking around $900. The front shocks alone for that system are like $220 a shock if i recall
