Unless you meant you where on the highway doing highway speed (55+) and you dropped it into first then there isn't a rev limiter to help you the tranny is going to pull that motor to the higher RPM weather you like it or not..and you will more than likely float a valve. Like before mentioned.. if you don't have any nasty noises or a miss in the motor then your good.
