You can check all my mods in my sig. Im looking to go with forged internals. Im looking to add f/i when i get the money for it which wont be for at least a year. But i wanna start making the car bullet proof. I want to also get 31spines and a lsd for the rear. But for now im just lookin for recomondations for forged internals.

are those blocks made to bolt on if you know what i mean, just take heads and upper half and put on, that would be better than trying to piece everything together

yeah you are better off just buying MMR short block which is what I did. Time is money but if you piece it together you may save $500.

Or if your comfortable enough with the idea you can do a lot on your own you would need to do all of this, wgat u can't do have the machine shop do

Tare down to bare block
Clean thuroughly, oil passages and all
Buy rods crank and pistons
Get pistons all within 1gram of each other
Get same for the big ends and small ends of the rods...they won't be perfect but get them close by removing some material then hang light piston on heavy rod, and heavy piston w light rod
Fill out a balance card and get crank balanced acordingly.
Get block .020 over, not generically but to your actual piston and please have them use a tq plate with either the bolts or studs your going to use. When assembling check crank to main clearance, rod to crank, piston to crank at bdc

I'd recommend getting the block and heads surfaced so everything is identical

That there is plenty and honestly it would be smart to leave it in the machine shops hands, that's what they do, let em do it.most avg ppl can't do most al of tgat stuff either do to lack of training or materials.

If you wanted to go further there are a ton of little things you can do to get a little more performance, cc the heads and make them all identical, get coated pistons, upgrade to light weight internals, back cut valves, play with valvesprings, alter some coolant and oil ways, and I could keep going... All about how much u wanna spend

Damn I miss working at a machine shop...lol

And I guess my other point is u can save money by doing what u can and letting a local machine shop do what u can't... Doesn't hurt to help a local shop by giving them work
