Default How to identify PI heads and intake

I purchased a 98 GT while deployed. Now that I'm home, I'm ready to start the mods. I opened the hood and the intake has an aluminum crossover. Now I'm confused. I thought the aluminum crossover was only on the PI intake. I'm wondering if the previous owner put PI heads and intake on. How can I tell without taking the intake off to see the shape of the intake ports?

Thanks for the help.

the intake manifold may have cracked and been replaced under warranty or whatnot by the previous owner. i think, thats an " i think" the replacement manifolds had aluminum crossovers. the only way i can think to tell for sure is to pull the manifold and look at the intake ports on the heads

you can buy replacement manifolds with both aluminum and plastic cross overs. also some 98's came with the aluminum cross over, but the previous ownwer probably replaced it. pi heads have the oil filler cap on the passenger side opposed to the driver side on the npi heads. check the part number on the manifold or take a pic.
