97 cobra motor in 00 GT body.
What will i need for this? I have a T-45 trans. My old 2v still in the car running and a complete 1997 cobra motor sitting on a pallet in my garage... what will be needed to swap that 4V in my 2000 Gt?

Eh, he said cobra..... 305HP Cobra vs 260HP GT + 45HP to the cobra. I think that you were thinking of a 97 2V.
OP, I am essentially doing this swap with a Mark VIII engine. So you can go here and get alot of questions answered: https://mustangforums.com/forum/4-6-...gine-swap.html
Now, the cobra is slightly different. It has the 8 bolt crankshaft, but I can't remember if the 00 stang has the 8 bolt or the 6 bolt. If it does have the 6 bolt, then you will need an 8 bolt flywheel. Fuel lines need to be extended, the wiring harness needs to be legthened, the IMRC's will have to be wired to some kind of switch, etc. Read the thread above.

The cobra uses 8 bolts to bolt the flywheel to the crankshaft. Some GT's use 6 bolts and some GT's use 8 bolts like the cobra does. IMRC's are Intake Manifold Runner Controls. They open up a second set of air intake ports above 3250RPM to increase power.
