Default Whistling sound from interior?

I noticed a couple days ago that I have a whistling (air being sucked in or blowing out) from the dash when I am between 1500-1900rpms. It doesnt matter what speed I am at. If I push the throttle more than 1/4 down, that sound appears. This is very confusing.

It happens with the A/C on and off.

Anybody even had it happen to them or know anything about it?

It could be a vacuum leak in something that is only opened at higher RPMs (EGR, maybe).

However, usually vacuum leaks have other symptoms, and a CEL would probably come on if your EGR isn't working.

Did it just start happening randomly or did it start after you added/deleted something?

No CEL. I recently put on lowering springs, changed my spark plugs, cleaned and re-oiled my K&N, cleaned my MAF and TB.

I dont see how that would cause anything like a vacuum leak.

It's a long shot and I may be retarded but there are reasons for the retarded amounts of plastic included in OEM Air intakes. They eliminate Whistling and other sound generated at various RPMs and under various Throttle loads. Possibly your intake whistling?

It could be. I can hear my blower whistle/whoosh through my AC sometimes, so it's not impossible.
