+1. Took me 6 hours total to clean mine up. Used a combination of duct tape and saran wrap to cover up COPS, alternator, battery, etc. Used a garden hose to wash it down. Say no to high pressure water in your engine bay. It really isn't an issue if you prep the engine properly.

day 2 it was a lot better... today - day 3 still there just not too bad... low and high rpms only. Coil # 3 I can unplug and idle does not change a bit like when other 7 are unplugged.
i did the same thing a few weeks ago no water that i could see on the coil but it was still a little warm and i killed one of them you may wanna check your coil packs again my bet is you killed one
big possiblity... last year in a car wash one got killed somehow.
