yeah i ordered an 8 dollar coil from ebay last night lol and also motorcraft sp493's from american muscle. so as soon as they show up im gonna put em in and torque them 13 ft/lbs then pray

that boot looks exactly like what happened to one of mine.. with my fingers crossed i put in a new plug and coil and have had no problems since. hopefully it'll be the same for you.

need to check the threads and find out if they have been damaged or not before you start torquing in the new plug. i would get a magnetic pickup tool and stick it around that area and see if it picks up any metal. then try to install a plug with your hand to make sure it isnt cross threading

lol its for portland state university. im (forced) to take a folklore class and my professor brought in some mexican "bread of the dead" and i dont care what you say its damn good lol. but i stuck a magnet down there already and i got no threads or shavings at all. my plan was to stick the plug on an extension and slowly thread it in and see what happens

ok so i got my plugs today but the threads are different, specifically the depth. are these safe to run?

bump.. can someone please tell me why these spark plugs are significantly different. can i run them? i got them off american muscle in the 99-04 section, but i am just very skeptical since they are quite different

triple post ftw! ok i got my coil now so i need to know if i can run these plugs. i need a running car so please does ANYBODY know if the thread depth on these plugs is too much compared to my other plugs. thanks
