Update to my engine noise problem

It is very hard to hear, but the noise I thought I heard was a bad idler pulley! I know you would love for it to be something simple. Good luck!

Yep. The only thing that holds em in is the pressure by the rocker arm and cams.

The way i look at it is if a couple went bad, the rest arent far behind. I just ordered the whole set soo i wont wry about it anymore.

Yeah the good ones wont compress when you press on them, the bad ones will be completely loose, you will be able to move the plunger up and down with no force.

I took the belt off and listen to the car and you can definately hear it a lot better. It almost sounds like a diesel's injector tick but its not coming from my injectors. It seems like its coming from the below the intake manifold.

Yeah, same as me. The lash adjusters can sound like they are coming from under there. I replied to you PM BTW.
