Has anyone had a fuel pump go out in their Mustang??

yeah happened to me. I was going to put 03 cobra pumps anyways and had them sitting on my passenger seat when it happened.

Probably happened b/c with my stock pump I had been driving around on E (sucking up dirt) for a week or two so it would be easy to drop the tank.

True but it only has 47K miles... And the real bummer is the tank is full

that sux, but it doesnt matter, ull just need an extra set of hands to help u balance the tank, i used a floor jack with a large contact pad. no biggie, just clean the top of the tank very will so when u remove the hat u dont get crap in the tank. good luck
