No, all my fuses are good, too. Unless I can find a way to check the wheel speed sensors or related hardware with a volt meter (maybe check the resistance or continuity in a speed sensor, but I wouldn't know what to look for in a correct reading) or something simple like that, I think I'm stuck taking it to a shop. Been driving the car like this for 3 years, but now with a newborn I kinda would like to do something about it.

Right on...I don't plan on taking it in any where. Worst case scenario, I buy a new ABS module and install it myself. I won't do that until I rule out everything else. I will check and clean all of my sensors when I put my winter wheels/tires on soon. I may try and get someone to hook up an abs scanner and see what turns up...problem is finding one and doing so cheaply! I'll post updates...

Im having a problem kinda similar to this. the ABS light flashes and the traction control does too when im cruising on the freeway... its not a problem but im just curious why its doing this... i put new rims like a month ago 17x9 in front and 17x10.5 in the rear. Could this have messed up something cuz they're bigger?

No, tire width should have nothing to do with it (diameter either, for that matter). People put on all kinds of different size rim and tire combos all the time without any ABS issues that I'm aware of.

^ Tire diameter WILL play a part in the ABS brakes and can make them activate more quickly. Differing diameter tires spin at differing speeds, so the ABS may "think" that since a wheel is spinning more slowly, it might be locking up.

My ABS light has been on ever since I put 17x9s and 17x10.5s as well. the ABS light was intermittent at first. Now it's on pretty much all of the time. It's been on and off for a year now so I'm used to it. I took my car to the dealership and they totally wasted my time and money and gave me no answers except to replace the ABS module and see if that takes care of it.

blue... does the ABS kick-in when you stomp on the brakes HARD? What size tires are you running on front/rear (first two sets of numbers, please).

Here are the ABS Diagnostic & Testing, and Traction Control D&T, sections from the '03 shop manual.

The ABS section is titled "... - Rear", but that seems to be a typo as it covers both axles.
