I think there is an option to upgrade the psc1 to a D for like a 1000 bucks, i could do that. And i want to make sure i am clear on this. You are saying with my blower do not go to 4v because it will lower the compression. Is that correct. I just want to make sure because i heard 4v ported heads were really good.

I want to build a 4.6 racing engine and need some advise. I currently have a 2v mustang gt with a ati procharger p1sc. I am at about 400 hp but want to make 600-650 hp on pump gas. I am going to forge the engine and increase the boost. To get to this hp amount do i need to switch to a 4v. Would i need to upgrade the fuel lines. I am willing to spend the money but dont know what the best route is. Please assist. THanks

you can get 4v C heads for as low as $400..no need to port them really, well since your gonna be pushin alot of boost you might want to, i know on n/a setups it isnt needed. those heads would help you make more hp per lb of boost but that may be too much trouble for you.
didnt read much of the above, but have you considered a teskid block? one of the strongest blocks ever made!

If I took the heads off my car and brought them to a machine shop to uprade would that be as good as buying new heads such as trick flow. And i am from south jersey, dont know what E town is, Thanks

Wher in SJ? I'm about 15 minutes from atco. The trickflow heads outflow ported PI heads right out of the box. You might come close but porting your heads just isn't going to be the same. The trickflow heads are a different design that's supposed to allow for more aggressive cams. Keeping stock cams with ported heads or trickflow heads is worthless, IMO. You need more lift and duration to be able to take advantage of the flow your getting out of upgraded heads.
