GT Tommy

This is a strut mounting kit for a 2003 GT Mustang with a 4.6 engine. Does anyone know how parts (C) and (D) mount? I'm thinking that part (D) bottoms out on the strut shaft just the way it is positioned in the picture, then part (C) sits on top of it just as it is shown in the picture, then the strut is installed through the strut mounting plate on the strut tower, then part (B) slides over the strut shaft along with the short sleeve shown in the picture, then part (A) flips over and sits on part (B), then the locking nut is installed. Then the upper end of the rubber bellows slips over the lower edge of part (D). Does anyone see it differently? I will be installing these parts from scratch. I'm helping my son who's is getting rid of the after market spring lowering kit that he had installed several years back. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
