Black residue on my MAF electrode?

Black residue on my MAF electrode?
The shorter electrode on the MAF was covered completely in black residue. Like what a burnt wire would look like the other taller electrode was completely clean no black residue.
I cleaned the entire MAf with Parts cleaner and after driving for awhile the codes came back: P0171 P01741 P0141 P0136.
Did my MAF burn out?
Full Exhaust and no Cats on my car.

Could be a few things, vac leak, faulty 02s, wiring...
You say you have no cats, do you have MIL elims or the rear 02s turned off with a tuner? That will throw your 136,141 codes... the 171/174 codes are lean codes bank 1+2. Check for vacuum leaks. Also, double check the trans wiring harness where it runs to the 02 sensors. I've seen the x-member rub right thru 02 wires

Ok after further inspection I heard a slight flapping noise coming from the passenger side header area and found a loose bolt at the bottom portion of the header.Which is in line with the fault code presented by my scan tool. So I tightened the bolt up cleared the codes and took a 3mile drive, so far no check engine light. X fingers.
I also checked the wires and any signs of a vacuum leak with carb spray all checking out ok.
Thanks for the tips WhiteFoxGT.

Well I went for another drive but this time I gave it lots more throttle like 80% and the check engine light popped right up and showed the 171 and 174 again but no O2 codes.
Should I be concerned with these codes? Performance wise?
I'm gonna have another look at it. Any suggestions?
