Default Fuel Pressure??

I have a '98 GT. When u start the car, then turn it off, and purge the fuel from the rail, should it spray or just "ooze" out?

Edit: because reading pwnes me.... if the car is off it will be more of a dribble.... if the car is running it should shoot out.

Its not much fuel, maybe enough to fill 1/4 of a coffee cup, if that. When I pulled the rail off my 03. But if you have the valve at the end of the rail you can use that to relieve pressure without gettting fuel everywhere.

with the car off the rail is still presurized. so the initial squirt will spray out then it will just ozze once you start relieving the presure. car on it will continuously squirt

Sweet. Yeah i seem to have issues starting the car sometimes and im starting to think that the Fuel pressure regulator might be going out. Sometimes when I attempt to start the car, it will almost turn over, then i have to mash the pedal to the floor then it fires right up.

Any suggestions?
