Exclamation Predator sweetness

It is freezing and dry out so i decided to mess with the ol predator... I advanced the timing form 2-4k and 4-7k as far as it would let me and maxed out WOT from 2-4k and 4-7k (40% more fuel). Which when i do the math, 19lbs injectors pumping at 40% more power equals 26.6 lbs injectors right... and seems to be ripping without remorse? im using 92 octane cause that is all we have in WA... i have no problems and feel power

If you have no way of monitoring your A/F after these changes I'd say it's not a great idea, unless you want to sweep the streets!

The timing will be fine all the way up, I have been running it for 3yrs on my car which is a daily driver in the hot Chicago summers and freezing winters without a problem. The A/F WOT u should leave alone because if u can't monitor it, it might be disastrous for the engine.

"I'd definately suggest bumping the timing up all the way, but be sure you've got at least 91 octane in your tank, and if you don't, buy power adder/octane boost at an auto parts store and dump it into your tank and you'll be fine."

this is what i read from this dude ^^^

I dont understand how making the WOT richer would hurt anything, i could understand leaning it out could be dangerous, but increasing fuel is just like getting bigger injectors right... advancing the timing is sucking more air and leaning it out?

Causes of detonation include excessive compression, elevated engine operating temperature, preignition, (overadvanced ignition timing)

I didnt write that, i got it off an engine failure article. Advancing your timing without adding fuel is dangerous. If your running a little rich it is fine when you lean out the a/f is when you need to worry. people tuned cars without wide band o2 systems for ever so dont let ppl the get there cars tuned by other ppl try to scare you.
