Find out some different dyno shops in your area and see what the going rate is and what tuner they use, that way you buy the right one. I have heard of prices like that, but I feel it is high. Some places bust you like that the first time, but then say it is only like a quarter of that for every subsequent tune. Most important thing is to shop around and ask other stangers in your area who they are using.
