Default GTS owners... or anyone i guess

Does your mustang have these scoops drilled out? and if they are drilled out do they have a vent on the backside of them?

my 96 GTS has the vents drilled out, and does NOT have a vent on the backside.
my 95 GTS has the vents drilled out, but DOES have a vent on the backside.

what does yours have???

My first '96 GT had the vent and my second did not. It doesn't do anything.

It has to do something. Maybe it was causing drag and they decided to put a vent in?

It was my understanding that all 94/95 GT's had the functional vent. I did not realize that some 96's had them also. Are 96 248A(GTS) cars early production cars and maybe the vents are a cary over until they used up some inventory

i did notice the vent directs the air downwards basically anyways.... its not like the vents in the trunk to allow the excess pressure inside to escape and those have rubber flaps. this one is just solid plastic. so who knows.. Ford probably thought it to be a good idea when the sn95's were introduced, and decided they didnt do **** and saved money by takin em out... lol
