Engine wash

You blew a COP..And not just 1, probably more. That's my guess... The same thing happened to me a couple months ago. I ended up buying 8 new COP's for $90 lifetime warranty through a seller on ebay.
From now on, i wash the engine by hand...

theres a trick to it, if your going to wash i have heard it is best to cover sensors and anything that looks like it might get messed up by water with foil good, then use low pressure to just rinse the dirt from the engine, try to avoid using any pressure if you are going to

i have never coverd anything on mine when i did it but then again i never directly sprayed any electronics with anything other than VERY light pressure spray.
that is after i spray all the engine with simple green and using a toothbrish to loosen the dirt then spray it off then wipe it all down with a towel followed by armor all all hoses etc.
but to be safe, use simple green and wipe it all down

hahaha +1 I rarely open my hood for anyone to see anyways but i can understand if you show your engine a lot or you just like everything clean. There's nothing wrong with that. I just know with my luck even if i took all the precautions something would still go wrong hahaha
