PI vs NPI intake

hi there,again.yea i was a little confused by the way am said tere car
was a 01,but it had spark plug wires?mine dont.do you know what they mean
by putting silicone in the passageway?looks like they completely filled
in the hole?that is the only thing i dont know now.thanks everybody
for all your help.

i been looking at the dorman pi,i heard the runners are smaller,
and it has less power.and trouble changing spark plugs.i think
i;ll get the one at american muscle.

also the NPI motor had coils and plug wires, where as the PI motor are COP

if you already have a PI motor and are replacing the intake with a PI intake, you do not need to worry about that. The guide is designed for people who have a NPI motor and are putting a PI intake onto it.

the one at am,but still not sure about the gaskets.that gasket set
they have for the tycoon intake,is that what i want?i would like
to get the gasket that has the tabs,thanks

The ford racing pi intake on AM does say it requires a factory style gasket. If you buy intake gaskets for a 99+ gt at the parts store you will get the right kind with the **** that line themselves up in the heads before you install the intake. The second review of the typhoon gasket kit said that he wished it had the tabs.
