Default tank leak

hey guys i just put my irs in and to do so i had to drop the fuel tank to put the brackets in and now there is a faint smell of gas at the rear of the car i noticed the filler neck seemd like it was a little on the wet side is there some kinds one time use only seal in there that has to be replaced os something

Probably is the filler neck seal.. Im surprised the CEL hasnt popped up for EVAP codes yet. The filler neck seal is re-usable, but when its old they wear out and tear and harden up, also, if you didnt lube it REALLY well when re-installing the tank it could have ripped
