Moot. The point is moot. They figured out spell check. Now they need to work on context and grammar check.
Oddly enough, the OP never said he was racing at all. He just said when he steps on the gas, his tires spin. For all anyone knows, he's into rally racing. As it happens, he is a drag racer and will benefit from a drag radial. He could have just as easily come back and said he was starting auto cross.

All GTs come stock with limited slip differentials.

OP, it is my understanding that in has been unusually cold in Louisana. First, you absolutely do not want to run drag radials in the cold. They are made of a compound that can crack in cold weather. Second, you are running high performance summer tires. Almost all tire companies carry a warning that summer tires are not to be used during near freezing tempatures. Their compound hardens in cold weather significantly reducing traction.

Yep, ive got Kuhmo ecstas and the past week in FL has been cold (for here) and I have not had as much traction when I get on it. I didnt think much of it until I just read that.

it's a combination of things, but I'm going to first guess it's the driver..

i have a '99 with a 5sp and i DD'd MT's for 2.5 years..

if i dumped the clutch in 1st i could spin it, and get squirrly in 2nd...

it's about learning how to control the car..
