done mine and a cuple others. u cud either pull the motor(which i recomend) or leave it in and pull just the heads.

motor in: pull yur fan assm.,and radiator for room. pull intake with throttle body and rails and all still attached, pull yur power steering pump and move it away from motor, do the same with the ps res. then pull yur valve covers and crank pully then the timing cover. MARK your cam gears and chains so u know where they go back on.un bolt yur cam gears and pull those heads! with the headers still atached.clean all surfaces re gasket and reverse it all.

probly left a few things out as im tryn to hurry.(gota b at work in a min.) make sure u bag and label all bolts and sensors and anything small!!!!

and get someone who has done this before to help u out.yur gonna need help anyway.Get a haines manual. tht will help out a lot. im sure it has a step by step in it also. be crefull and take yur time and yull be ok. Good luck man. pm me if u have q's.

Default Cams and springs

craig 03.
HELL YES! cam tht sucker while u can. it will save u a lot of time and money. and heres a trick for ya.:: when u go to put the cam in and need to re install the followers and lash adjusters: instead of putting the cam in first and using the OTC tool to pop in all the followers, put in all the lash adj.(lifters) then lay all the followers on them and the valve tip then lay the cam in on top of them and install the cam towers on top of the cam and tighten them down even and slowly and they will pop the cam in perfectly and save u the time of having to rotate the cam around and install one follower ata time! **also** make sure to get some good springs installed as well. I recomend calling Nick Mckinny at Modular Head Shop. He is the man with the cams bro! Pacaloy springs is what he sells and they are Badass! He also has WAY better prices than most and wudnt steer u wrong. he knows what he is talkin about and is Honest. and these days that counts for a lot. Good luck and like i said PM me if u need help or have a question.
